About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods supporting our manufacturing and business operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuity of supply, cost effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Buyer is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong focus on supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with Operations, Quality, Finance, and R&D to support production requirements, new product development, and long-term supply chain strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain
• Extensive experience purchasing packaging materials in a manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment required
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and performance
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a food manufacturing, CPG or regulatory environment preferred
• Professional designation such as SCMP or CPSM
