About The Position

At DATAMARK, Inc., the Senior Buyer works onsite and helps drive procurement strategies, ensuring seamless sourcing of goods and services needed for company operations. The role controls purchasing programs by establishing purchasing policies and procedures, coordinates purchasing activities across the organization, and creates and implements strategies to procure required services and equipment cost-effectively.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
At least 5 years of experience supporting purchasing, placing orders, processing purchase requisitions or orders, inventory control, or contract administration; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Effective negotiation skills with vendors regarding pricing.
Strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Control and approve purchasing department budgets and requests.
Provide administrative approvals and updates in Acumatica and train new users.
Review and send approved purchase orders.
Set up new vendors using a checklist, including negotiating and gathering quotes for services and purchases.
Maintain and prepare the Special Purchase Requests database and renewals for executive approval.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Administer Egencia and company travel by guiding users through appropriate approvals.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Prepare quarterly cost updates to ensure compliance with company purchases.
Negotiate pricing with vendors.
