The Senior Buyer is responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements.

Requirements

Requires minimum of 5 years commodity purchasing experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related business field or equivalent experience
Data driven analysis and negotiating techniques
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
High level of integrity
Priority setting and time management
Action oriented & produces results
Strong written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment
Superior conflict resolution skills while maintaining strong relationships and rapport
