The Materials Specialist – Buyer is responsible for ensuring on time procurement of key raw materials for manufacturing operation, managing on hand inventory levels, and leveraging DBS tools to optimize material flow/availability and inventory management. This position reports to the Materials Manager and supports the Hollow Fiber manufacturing process located in Westborough, MA and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient Microsoft excel knowledge (Pivot tables, Vlookup/IF statement functions)
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
  • 1-2 years of experience utilizing Oracle
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle PO management
  • PowerBI experience
  • Kanban/IMAG tool use and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Plan and buy raw material and expense items for Hollow Fiber manufacturing and the larger Westborough team
  • Utilize DBS tools and Oracle plans to optimize material flow/availability/inventory management, including use of Kanban and IMAG
  • End to end PO management including generation through to fulfillment, including supplier relationship management to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Collaborate with the cross functional team to assist with internal projects as needed
