About The Position

Senior Buyer We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Exlar team! As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for executing complex or technical procurement activities, including high-value purchases. This role negotiates pricing and contract terms, drives sourcing efforts and supplier performance to meet cost, quality and delivery objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of strategic procurement processes, contract negotiations, supplier management.
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ERP systems.
Demonstrated negotiation experience with measurable cost savings or value creation.
Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be a US Person.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end procurement activities for complex, high-value materials, components and services.
Negotiate and administer complex purchase orders and agreements.
Issue and administer purchase orders, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase or shipment of goods, materials or services.
Drive supplier selection as well as conduct supplier site visits and rate them as to production capability, performance and delivery.
Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring (cost, quality, delivery) and corrective action implementation.
Proactively address issues and escalate as needed.
Resolve complex invoice discrepancies, receive issues and supplier disputes.
Maintain accurate and complete procurement records.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to ensure alignment with program schedules and requirements.
Drives cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
