Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Engineering (any), Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field
Three (3) years of related work experience as a Purchasing Agents, Except Wholesale, Retail, and Farm Products or related occupation
Three (3) years of experience with/in: maintaining inventory levels and part ordering policies in MRP software systems
Three (3) years of experience with/in: analyzing and interpreting MRP reports and taking appropriate courses of action
Three (3) years of experience with/in: Production, Inventory Control, and Quality improvement
Three (3) years of experience with/in: managing suppliers of delivery and quality performance
Three (3) years of experience with/in: data collection, outsourcing and communication with procurement team
Two (2) years of experience with/in: specifications, drawings, product life cycle, bids, and quotations related to purchasing or product design and follow up
Two (2) years of experience with/in: handling purchasing and product design

Responsibilities

Analyzing and processing authorized requisitions by establishing sources of supply and issuing financially binding purchase orders to obtain needed materials and services
Maintaining the design of the current and future product design changes according to market needs
Implementing sourcing strategies and supplier relationships
Creating plans to achieve cost saving targets
Negotiating purchase contracts and follow-ups on delivery and quality compliance
Recommending design change to customer product and initiating new supply programs
Researching to benchmark suppliers and processes
