About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Buyer – Finished Components to join our global procurement team. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and driving cost, quality, and delivery performance across a portfolio of production components. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration, with experience supporting new product launches through series production in a global manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred in supply chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Specific knowledge of Off-Highway Diesel Engine commodities, materials and products.
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing with focus on international procurement.
- German language skills
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and award decisions for production and aftermarket components.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and supply objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process from sourcing through production launch.
- Perform cost analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities through supplier and process optimization.
