This opportunity is for a Senior Buyer to support two major Procurement Teams, focusing on executing strategies that drive supply security, cost savings, process optimization, and supplier risk mitigation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • Eligibility for ITAR-controlled work (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort building metrics/reports from data.
  • Willingness to be a regular presence on the shop floor.
  • A customer-oriented, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare RFQs and proposals based on Plant requirements; evaluate quotations and perform cost analyses weighing price, schedule, quality, and capability.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times aligned with Plant goals.
  • Place and maintain purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, charge codes, and vendor promise dates.
  • Resolve invoice holds in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Reconcile shipping documentation with the Receiving department.
  • Support new supplier onboarding and new item set-up.
  • Partner with Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Accounts Payable, and Facilities to resolve Plant issues promptly.
  • Ensure procurement procedure compliance for quality and financial audits.
  • Provide responsive, attentive support to overall business operations.
