About The Position

As Senior Buyer Acquisition Lead – HLTH Events (HLTH USA, ViVE, HLTH Europe), you will play a pivotal role in building, growing, and retaining a high-value community of senior decision-makers across the global healthcare ecosystem. In this role, you will contribute to the strategy and execution of buyer acquisition and retention across our Connect Program, securing qualified senior leaders across the health ecosystem, including payers, providers, employers, pharma/bio- life sciences/diagnostics to participate in our events and curated meeting experiences. This is a hands-on, target-driven role focused on delivering both the volume and quality of buyers while nurturing long term relationships that strengthen the HLTH community year-round and onsite. You will serve as a strategic relationship builder and brand ambassador, identifying, engaging, and securing senior-level buyers through multiple outreach channels including phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person meetings, industry events, and leverage existing partnerships. You will confidently communicate the value of HLTH’s portfolio and programs, aligning buyer priorities with sponsor and partner objectives to drive meaningful connections and measurable outcomes. With a strong sales-oriented mindset, you will manage your own recruitment targets across multiple event portfolios simultaneously, consistently meeting and/or exceeding KPIs. You will own pipeline management and reporting, maintaining accurate CRM records to track outreach, conversions, registrations, buyer quality metrics, and overall program performance. Above all, you will contribute to building a welcoming, inclusive, and high-value experience that accelerates meaningful connections and innovation across our healthcare ecosystem and community.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in sales, recruitment, business development or buyer acquisition, ideally in events, healthcare and/or digital health.
  • Experience leading high-volume, high-quality recruitment or acquisition pipelines.
  • Highly analytical, organized and detail oriented, with strong data skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn Navigator and email sequencing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven success in cold calling and engaging senior level stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and performance tracking (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Apollo).
  • Relationship-focused and independently out of the box thinker who is highly motivated with a collaborative, proactive working style.
  • Passionate about community building and understanding industry ecosystems.
  • Experience in developing a pipeline from scratch, with the initiative to build, own and execute campaigns.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to buyer recruitment strategy across HLTH’s Connect Meetings programs and executing against agreed-upon targets
  • Managing and growing key accounts while proactively developing new business pipelines
  • Identifying and engaging senior and C-suite executives, understanding their priorities, and aligning them with relevant ecosystem opportunities
  • Securing buyer commitments and managing engagement through event delivery in close partnership with Attendee Experience and Event Operations teams
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, content, sales, and operations to align messaging, optimize recruitment strategies, and convert inbound leads
  • Conceptualizing and executing new engagement methods and outreach campaigns, including targeted email marketing initiatives
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships to drive alum participation and community advocacy
  • Representing HLTH at industry events and external meetings, demonstrating clear ROI
  • Monitoring recruitment performance and implementing contingency plans to ensure targets are achieved
