Senior Business Systems Analyst (Remote)
About The Position
Hudbay is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst to satisfy IT system users through the maintenance and enhancement of computer applications. This role involves rolling out new features, adding reporting, correcting issues, and providing automation between current and new IT systems. The main focus will be on the ERP system Ellipse and the Maintenance Module, with activities provided to meet corporate guidance for maintainability, auditability, and control. Specialization in Metals, Exploration, and Plant Maintenance (PM) is required. The role is primarily remote with some travel to the Snow Lake, MB site on a Monday-Friday schedule. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
- Expertise in BI, report design
- Exceptional working knowledge of Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, Equipment and Safety.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in training and mentoring others.
- Strong SQL Server Transact-SQL skills.
Nice To Haves
- Hitachi Ellipse experience is an asset.
- Ellipse 9.x experience is an asset.
- Jasper Reporting is an asset.

- Provide exceptional support to end-users, resolving system issues and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

- Lead client needs assessments, prioritize business needs, and recommend solutions.

- Analyze client operations to identify opportunities for improvement and process optimization.
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance system functionality and address user needs.
- Follow appropriate change management methodologies to minimize disruption and risk.
