Position Summary Join the Refining Digital team as a senior resource to play a role in shaping and delivering transformative technology solutions that advance safety, reliability, efficiency, and business value across refining operations. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will partner with business leaders, refinery stakeholders, and stakeholders across the Digital to define strategy, influence priorities, and drive enterprise-scale initiatives from concept through value realization. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Digital Twins, connected worker solutions, industrial data platforms, and advanced analytics while bridging the gap between operational needs and technology innovation. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred, related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant Experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives in refining, manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments strongly preferred.
Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies is preferred.
Understanding of IT/OT convergence and integrating systems across industrial and enterprise environments is preferred.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive change across large, matrixed organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the identification, evaluation, and delivery of strategic digital initiatives that create measurable business value across Refining locations and processes.
Leads improvement recommendations and presents effectively to senior and executive management and global teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, helping shape the digital roadmap and identify opportunities to accelerate operational excellence.
Presents and leads client meetings with the business and development teams.
Communicates with senior leaders for understanding and execution of cross functional complex processes and applications to solve for client requirements.
Partner with senior Refining and Digital leaders to align technology investments with business objectives and operational priorities that cross both the IT and OT landscapes.
Provides recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
Partners with business teams to develop ways to investigate business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Leads and serves as a senior resource on cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
Serves as a resource to colleagues, mentors and helps improve the team’s abilities around all IT Service Management (ITSM) disciplines deployed.
Leads the development, execution, and creation of the cross functional testing strategy communicating with all stakeholders for technology delivery.
Drive complex initiatives across multiple teams and organizations, ensuring successful execution, adoption, and business outcomes.
Leads the planning, conducting and documenting of user stories, user feedback.
Effectively communicates feedback with senior leaders for technology improvement.
