About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for discovery, process mapping, business impact analysis (BIA), enhancement planning and management, implementation support, and testing. The Analyst will enable business growth and productivity through the deployment, optimization, and application of Salesforce. The Senior Business Analyst will also mentor and act as a resource to less experienced data analysts. This position is onsite at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business, Computer Science, or MIS or related field OR equivalent experience.
Four (4) years of Salesforce experience as a business process analyst or similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Additional Salesforce Certifications.
Experience supporting Salesforce CRM full-cycle implementations.
Three (3) years of medium to large-scale project and program management.
Demonstrated drive and determination to achieve success.
Good organizational skills and time management necessary to lead large-scale projects/programs.
Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions, help frame logical conclusions and arrive at effective solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across global geographies, business units’ hierarchy, and multiple functional areas.
Cross/multi-functional understanding of industry, company, and products to enable identification of assumptions and events and qualification of related risks and opportunities.
Ability to work independently with limited direction and with a team in a fast-paced, high-work volume environment with emphasis on maintaining quality and timeliness.
Self-motivated.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce’s Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

Document current state business processes for businesses implementing Salesforce.
Conduct/participate in discovery sessions and gather requirements for new Salesforce projects and enhancements.
Develop future state business process maps.
Create key decision documents for approval.
Coordination of business and system processes with the rest of world team as global implementations occur.
Develop functional test scripts and conduct user acceptance testing.
Work with the Salesforce Training Lead to build and ensure knowledge transfer to super user resources.
Provide hypercare support.
Review, monitor, and manage tickets for enhancements; resolve by collaborating with business partners, Super Users, and the larger Salesforce CoE team.
Collaborate with functional business leaders in establishing the enhancement execution priorities and regularly communicate across the associated teams.
Lead the rollout of system enhancements, including hypercare and working with the Salesforce Training Lead to train Super Users, end users, and external users (customers/partners).
Collaborate with larger CoE team on security and role mapping system changes and review and approve individual requests.
Monitor progress and results over time to ensure the attainment of objectives.
Develop and maintain a fundamental understanding of Generac’s business goals and strategic objectives, apply creative problem-solving approaches, and conceptualize into productivity enhancements.
Develop business cases with functional specifications of system enhancements or new modules, working with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT in the selection of software solutions/packages in conjunction with the business.
Act as business liaison within the work streams (work with larger CoE team to confirm approach, design, timeline, etc.); ongoing dialog with business to scope system enhancements and functionality needs by collecting business requirements and defining business process.
