About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to join the 787 Business Operations Pricing and Offerability team in North Charleston, SC on Shift 1. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, integration, relationship building, and critical thinking skills in addition to the following responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined education and relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Business Operations
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills & ability to interface with senior-level executives

Nice To Haves

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience coaching in highly matrixed organizations including highly diverse technology environments
  • Experience in Customer introduction, Finance, Change management, Sale/contracts, Business operations
  • Ability to look forward strategically and develop detailed solutions and specifications

Responsibilities

  • Leading Price and Offerability commitments for 787 Partner across functions to present coordinated strategies and recommendations on customer configuration and change requests
  • Leading complex directives to address projects in support of the 787 program
  • Guiding and facilitating the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization
  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
  • Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
  • Special projects

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary Pay Range level 4: $118,150 - $159,850
  • Summary Pay Range level 5: $146,200 - $197,800
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
