About The Position

The Senior Business Intelligence Product Manager sets the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the firm’s business intelligence platform and analytics experience. The role leads product direction for the consolidated Power BI platform, defines a unified experience for discovering and using dashboards and reports, and shapes the rollout of self-service and AI-assisted analytics through Databricks AI/BI Genie. The role owns the BI product lifecycle from discovery through adoption, partners with Data Governance to establish standards for certified dashboards and governed datasets, and directs engineering teams building on the platform. It combines expertise in business intelligence and data visualization, product management, and stakeholder leadership to deliver trusted, measurable value across the firm.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Business, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in product management, business intelligence, or analytics leadership.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise business intelligence platforms, with hands-on expertise in Power BI or comparable BI tools.
Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, and data visualization best practices.
Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
Demonstrated experience applying product management and agile delivery practices, including backlog ownership, roadmap planning, sprint prioritization, and release management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good judgment and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others.
Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Define and drive the business intelligence platform’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with firm goals.
Lead product direction for the consolidated Power BI platform, including migration of existing reports and dashboards from legacy tools and retirement of redundant BI solutions.
Define and deliver a unified portal or hub for users to discover, access, and interact with dashboards and reporting.
Shape the rollout of Databricks AI/BI Genie and self-service and conversational analytics, including target audiences, use cases, guardrails, and adoption plans.
Partner with Data Governance to develop and maintain standards for dashboard and dataset certification, including design, naming, documentation, refresh, access, and quality expectations.
Set product direction and priorities for BI engineering and analytics developers, translating stakeholder needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized backlog.
Manage the BI product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through development, launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
Collaborate with stakeholders across practice groups, finance, business development, human resources, IT, and knowledge management to understand reporting needs and requirements.
Establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics for adoption, usage, data trust, and time to insight, and report progress to leadership.
Establish and maintain user experience and data visualization standards to make dashboards consistent, intuitive, and accessible.
Define and prioritize platform capabilities and features based on stakeholder needs, usage data, and technical feasibility.
