About The Position

OUTFRONT Media is seeking a senior-level Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team. The role combines business intelligence expertise with a data engineering background, creating high-quality dashboards used across the organization, from administrators to C-level leaders. The analyst will work with the data engineering team to ensure data models support meaningful business-facing analytics solutions in Sigma Computing.

The analyst will design and implement scalable solutions using dashboarding, cloud technologies, and modern data warehouses. The role partners with leadership and stakeholders across the business to evolve data systems and deliver trusted dashboards and reporting assets that support decision-making. The team works in a hybrid setup, with the ability to come into the Manhattan office.

Requirements

• Hands-on Sigma Computing experience is required; the ideal candidate has 5–7 years of Sigma Computing experience.
• At least 3 years of prior experience using analytic tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• 5–7 years of dashboarding and business intelligence experience overall, including hands-on delivery of reporting solutions for business users.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn raw data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python and database design concepts.
• Experience building and optimizing data models in Snowflake and managing transformation workflows in dbt.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and experience building scalable solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including aligning technical and business stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs.
• Exceptional communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong business acumen and an analytics mindset, with the ability to develop meaningful recommendations from raw data.
• Ability to work across backend engineering and front-end analytics use cases.
• Strong organizational and delivery skills, including managing multiple priorities in Agile teams.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent experience; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance dashboards for analysis, reporting, and insights across the business.
• Provide feedback to the data engineering team on scalable data models and warehouse structures, optimizing for speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand data and reporting needs and translate them into flexible, scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytic views in Sigma Computing, providing business users with trusted, actionable, and easy-to-use insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, business logic, and reporting requirements, and translate them into scalable data models and reporting solutions.
• Establish best practices for data quality, governance, documentation, and reporting consistency across engineering and analytics workflows.
• Improve reporting and analysis by automating processes, streamlining workflows, and enabling self-service data tools.
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, story development, and cross-functional execution using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate across the internal analytics team, data engineering, and business stakeholders.
