About The Position

The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for building and maintaining an excellent working relationship with our Marketing and Account Executives. This position will be a major change agent at Spring Health, having impact and influence with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. The ideal candidate enjoys testing and learning to ultimately become an effective seller and leader. In addition, we are seeking creative and passionate individuals eager to develop their skill sets to be successful long term in their careers who believe in honesty and transparency. As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission. This position requires working out of our NYC office 3x a week at 60 Madison Ave.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, recruiting, customer-facing work, partnerships, or another sales-adjacent role.
  • Demonstrated success working toward measurable goals and can explain how you used feedback or data to improve your results.
  • A creative prospector who is comfortable with traditional outreach methods and motivated to experiment with new tools and approaches.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, ask thoughtful questions, and can tailor a message to different audiences.
  • Organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage a high volume of activity without sacrificing follow-through or quality.
  • Highly coachable, collaborative, and invested in your professional growth and long-term sales career
  • Able to work 40 hours per week with a standard schedule of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), Monday through Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Direct outbound prospecting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop outreach strategy, content, in-bound lead process, and development programs for the BDR team
  • Prospect into Fortune 1000 companies and other employers through a combination of email, phone call, and other sales channels
  • Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executive using Spring Health’s qualification criteria
  • Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to the assigned Account Executive
  • Develop all of the critical skills to accelerate a successful career in Sales
