MCI is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the identification and development of new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and expand its presence within the infrastructure and B2B sectors. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships preferably in B2B or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation, deal structuring, and closing complex partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, lead generation strategies, and CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and client acquisition strategies.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals.
  • Ability to build trust and foster collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, with a focus on infrastructure and long-term growth sectors.
  • Direct regional sales and client engagement initiatives to drive pipeline development and revenue generation.
  • Provide mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction to business development teams.
  • Leverage data mining, networking, and outbound prospecting to uncover and qualify new leads.
  • Confidently consult with prospects, communicate value propositions, and build trust with decision-makers.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline from initial contact through to close, ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams when appropriate.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals and lead contract negotiations to secure new business.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
