About The Position

Splitit is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Financial Institutions to help launch and scale a new business focused on delivering white-label installment credit card and lending solutions to banks and credit unions. This role involves identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnerships while establishing a new distribution channel for the company. The position requires a strong understanding of business development, sales execution, relationship management, and market development within the fintech, payments, and banking sectors. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator with a proven track record of success in enterprise sales and partnership development. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within fintech, payments, lending, banking, or related technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success generating pipeline, navigating complex buying processes, and closing new business.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and excited by the opportunity to help build a new business and distribution channel from the ground up.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder who can establish credibility with stakeholders from operators to executives.
  • Actively using AI-powered tools to improve prospecting, account research, productivity, and sales effectiveness.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective bank and credit union partners.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, industry networking, referrals, and strategic relationship development.
  • Lead opportunities through discovery, solution positioning, business case development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Collaborate with leadership throughout the sales process to advance strategic opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders across lending, payments, digital banking, product, and executive leadership teams.
  • Establish Splitit as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Represent Splitit at industry events and develop relationships across the banking, credit union, fintech, and payments ecosystem.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape commercial strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
