This role involves partnering with DevTools engineers and technical stakeholders to capture, clarify, and maintain requirements across CI/CD Recovery, Repository Governance, and Curation initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst will translate technical discussions into clear requirements, process documentation, workflows, decisions, and actionable project deliverables. This position requires documenting recovery procedures, governance standards, operational processes, and technical dependencies. The role also involves tracking scope, milestones, risks, timelines, and cross-initiative dependencies, while proactively identifying gaps or blockers. A working understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory is necessary for documenting current-state and future-state processes. Support for repository governance and DevSecOps-related efforts, including documentation of standards, controls, ownership, and open-source governance processes, is also a key responsibility. The role actively uses AI tools, including Claude through the Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve work quality, and share best practices. Assistance with readiness and discovery activities for a potential GitHub and GitHub Actions migration is expected. The Senior Business Analyst will facilitate alignment between engineers and DevTools stakeholders by documenting decisions, action items, open questions, and changes in scope. Maintaining organized and up-to-date project documentation is crucial for providing technical teams clear visibility into requirements, processes, decisions, and delivery status. Availability to work Central Time Zone hours is required to support daily collaboration with the DevTools team and project stakeholders.
