The Insight 2 Incite (i2i) Consumer Analytics team, within the Bank Marketing & Analytics organization, is a group of business analysts working to drive innovation within the bank through consumer segmentation, market intelligence, and data-driven strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
  • 1+ years of experience in market research
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them through research and analysis to generate strategic or tactical insights
  • Maintain a competitive pulse on the industry, support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, and inform intent for products distributed through the retail channel.
  • Synthesize targeted consumer insights to inform pricing, modeling, and marketing strategies to drive growth across the bank
  • Leverage problem frameworks, develop hypotheses, identify and scope potential solutions, socialize insights and recommendations, and support ongoing stakeholder needs or monitoring
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Business Analysts, Market Researchers, Project/Product Managers, Data Analysts and others to drive actionable insights
