The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in advancing CINQCARE’s clinical and operational excellence by supporting enterprise clinical systems with a primary focus on Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) workflows and data integrations. This role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, translating clinical, operational, and business priorities into scalable system solutions that improve outcomes for CINQCARE Family Members. The Senior Business Analyst operates at both a tactical and strategic level—leading complex requirements efforts, optimizing workflows, and aligning technology, operations, and clinical teams. They communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, drive alignment across stakeholders, and ensure data, systems, and integrations support CINQCARE’s growth, compliance, and care delivery goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in healthcare.
  • 2+ years supporting ADT,data integrationor patient identity/MPI workflows and related systems.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, workflow mapping, writing functionalspecifications, and interface specifications.
  • Strong understanding of ambulatory and inpatient ADT workflows and healthcare data flows.
  • Experience with integration concepts and message standards (HL7 v2 ADT, FHIR, REST APIs) and data mapping.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clinicians, operations, and technical teams.
  • Exceptional executive-levelcommunication skills,including the ability to synthesize complexity and drive alignment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience supporting EHR integrations, interface engines, and troubleshooting interface errors.
  • Experience with MPI/duplicate resolution, identity matching logic, and reconciliation processes.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement training.
  • Experience in value-based care, population health management, or multi-clinic implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical, operational, and executive leadership, providing clear analysis, recommendations, and risk assessments related to ADT workflows and data integrations.
  • Translate complex technical and workflow issues into executive ‑ level insights to support decision ‑ making, prioritization, and investment planning.
  • Facilitate cross ‑ functional alignment by proactively communicating tradeoffs, dependencies, and timelines to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise requirements gathering across clinical, operational, registration, and revenue cycle stakeholders for ADT and patient identity workflows.
  • Document and analyze current ‑ state and future ‑ state workflows, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure ADT workflows align with operational strategy, care delivery models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with implementation leaders, solution architects, integration engineers, and vendors to ensure system configuration and interfaces meet business and clinical needs.
  • Participate in system design reviews, integration design sessions, testing cycles, and validation of message flows.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and interface requirements using HL7 v2 ADT, FHIR, and REST APIs.
  • Design, validate, and support integrations between core clinical systems, MPI/registration platforms, population health, analytics, care management, and ancillary systems.
  • Develop and maintain high ‑ quality documentation including requirements, workflow diagrams, interface specifications, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  • Partner with Training and Operations teams to support go ‑ lives, cutovers, and major workflow or integration changes.
  • Support development of user training materials and operational guidance related to ADT workflows.
  • Provide analytical insights using system and integration data to support reconciliation, reporting, and decision ‑ making (e.g., ADT feed quality, duplicate records, data integrity).
  • Monitordashboardsand user feedback, perform root ‑ cause analysis, and recommend remediation plans.
  • Identify and drive improvements to system usability, provider experience, registration efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Ensure systems and integrations support regulatory, privacy, and audit trail requirements.
