Job Overview Provides expertise and systems support in the development and enhancement of business systems to deliver new or improved products for clients, as well as effective planning, reporting, and analytical tools for internal functions. Essential Functions Under general direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a strong understanding of applicable business systems and requirements Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into clear and accurate system requirement specifications Devise or modify procedures to solve complex business and system problems, considering system capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired outcomes Evaluate the business implications of applying technology to current and future business environments Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced Business Systems Analysts Perform work at a high technical level across most phases of systems analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards
