About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst works within the Global IT Team to partner with business stakeholders and others to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements across multiple functional areas and physical locations (US and EU). They translate these requirements into solutions and -directly or indirectly- lead the delivery of those solutions to the business. This is a highly visible role in the organization with the potential to drive significant organizational change. Candidates with experience in international manufacturing environments are strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst and a further 2-3 years as a Senior Business Analyst within an IT or ERP‑focused environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau to model and surface data for business planning purposes.
  • Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting or delivering ERP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
  • Highly motivated with a strong initiative and desire to continue learning new skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Ability to understand the "big picture" and interdependencies of various divisions, systems, and activities.
  • Ability to obtain, hold, and maintain a valid passport and to travel internationally between the United States and the Czech Republic.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with experience in international manufacturing environments are strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting JD Edwards (JDE) is highly preferred; experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics) is acceptable, with a demonstrated ability to transfer ERP knowledge.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
  • Project management experience or exposure is strongly desirable; formal certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience working in a global, multi‑site, or matrixed organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements‑gathering activities including workshops, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications with ROIs; work with others in the IT Department to map requirements to technical solutions and lead or support their delivery to the business.
  • Play a key role in JD Edwards initiatives, including system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, configuration support, testing, training, and post‑implementation support.
  • Support ERP‑related project activities, including scope definition, timelines, risk management, and status communication.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and IT, ensuring JD Edwards solutions align with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution, to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, business process documentation, and end‑user training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of JD Edwards functionality, business processes, and supporting systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Accessible by phone and email on a reasonable, as-needed basis outside of set work hours to support the needs of production and maintenance, in both the US and EU locations.
  • Able to work in a safe manner, following all safety policies and procedures while keeping in mind other people’s safety as well.
  • Report any accidents and potentially unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
