About The Position

This Senior Business Analyst role supports the North America Product Management Team, focusing on commercial strategy, strategic planning, market intelligence, and sustainability. The position reports to the Commercial Strategy Manager for North America and is responsible for transforming market and competitive insights into strategic direction that influences product and manufacturing priorities. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Technical Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and global regions, with exposure to Automotive, Beverage Packaging, and Specialties business units. This is a high-impact strategic initiative role that helps define Novelis’ future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience with business analysis, strategy, or operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing; planning, scheduling, and/or finance/budgeting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills; MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to positively handle change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Salesforce and/or SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Foster effective communication and close collaboration with Account Managers and cross functional teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
  • Monitor market and competitive developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities, providing insights that support near-term and longer-term planning
  • Develop and maintain key metrics, analyses, and reporting to track progress against strategic initiatives and support leadership visibility
  • Develop long-term strategic planning through sales volume forecasting by analyzing market trends and industry dynamics
  • Effective product portfolio management ensuring future product strategies align with company growth and cost savings
  • Customer Presentations and other ad-hoc analysis
