Collaboration with stakeholders and users is key to synthesizing, articulating, and documenting business objectives and requirements using system and analytical thinking. The role requires a proficient understanding of business strategy and planning principles, contributing to project charters and plans, and applying systems engineering methodologies. Data analysis, defining business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and validating systems are core functions. The position also involves assisting project leaders with deliverable deployment and demonstrating strong system and analytical thinking capabilities. Progressive knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools, effective communication, building rapport, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and driving consensus are essential. The role may involve managing projects of mid-level complexity. The primary focus is supporting the development of Multi-Media distribution solutions and optimizing service delivery in digital media asset management and video streaming platforms. This includes performing data analysis, defining and documenting business requirements, and translating them into technical/engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, user experience requirements, and system validation using Agile and Lean frameworks. Experience in cross-functional teams as a Business Analyst or Scrum Master, conducting root cause analysis, developing reporting and analytical solutions (dashboards, reports, custom tools), and delivering insights through analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Denodo) are also key aspects of this role. This position is a combination of remote and on-site work, requiring the individual to live within a 100-mile driving distance to the Rochester Mayo Clinic campus.
