Senior Business Analyst
About The Position
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team! This position is integral to the function of our organization, playing a critical role in our Enterprise Transformation team. The key responsibilities for this role include enabling digital transformation by delivering projects that enhance member experience, streamline operations, and improve organizational efficiency. The Senior Business Analyst will bridge business and technology by working closely with business users, developers, and project managers to ensure business goals are clearly understood and effectively translated into system requirements. This role involves eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed business and system requirements for digital initiatives, facilitating collaborative sessions with diverse stakeholder groups for discovery and validation, and developing accurate estimates and plans for requirement delivery. Additionally, the role requires leading prioritization efforts and applying agile techniques to align business priorities with delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA), CBAP® (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA® – IIBA, PMP® or CAPM® – PMI (for project work), Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe Agilist)
- 5 - 7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the financial sector.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
- Detail-oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our company’s assets and reputation
- Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions
- Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI)
