About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst is a strategic individual contributor responsible for transforming complex operational data into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions. This role partners closely with Field Operations Leadership to identify performance risk, optimize labor and service models, and improve execution outcomes across a large, distributed field organization. The Senior Business Analyst goes beyond reporting by proactively identifying trends, building analytical models, and clearly communicating recommendations that balance cost, service quality, process compliance and business performance.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analytics, or financial analysis required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large, complex datasets
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to translate data into executive level insights and recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Operate independently on complex, ambiguous business problems
  • Anticipates leadership questions and proactively delivers insights
  • Influences decisions through data, logic, and clear communication
  • Balances analytical rigor with practical, actionable recommendations
  • Establishes best practices for analysis, metrics, and reporting
  • Mentors or guides junior analysts as needed

  • Experience supporting field-based, retail, or distributed workforces
  • Background in labor modeling, productivity analysis, workforce management, scheduling, or service execution models

Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance trends to identify execution, service, or sales risk early
  • Evaluate execution consistency and identify patterns in above/under performance across regions, routes, and service models
  • Surface insights that help leaders prioritize intervention and support efforts
  • Analyze labor utilization using standards, thresholds, and service expectations
  • Model workload, capacity, and productivity across employees and regions
  • Identify imbalances and inefficiencies in coverage, or service design
  • Support labor planning and optimization decisions through scenario modeling
  • Develop and maintain standardized dashboards, scorecards, and reporting for leadership
  • Ensure consistent definitions, metrics, and data integrity across analyses
  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to leaders across functions
  • Identify repeat non‑compliance patterns and potential root causes
  • Distinguish training, process, and accountability issues using data‑driven analysis
  • Analyze travel time, mileage, and non‑productive time within service routes
  • Support route optimization, rezoning, or area redesign initiatives
  • Maintain all equipment assigned to you according to the guidelines set by Excell Marketing L.C.
  • Always Represent Excell Marketing L.C. in a professional and courteous manner
  • All other duties and special projects assigned by supervisor
