About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst partners with the ServiceNow Product Owner to support and enhance the ServiceNow platform. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned business stakeholders, gathering requirements, documenting business needs, writing user stories, and managing product backlogs. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders and developers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and platform standards while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Product Owner or Product Management career path.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories or functional requirements.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders in a customer-facing or consulting capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new business processes and technologies quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management preferred.
• Experience performing functional testing or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Business Analyst for assigned ServiceNow products and business stakeholders.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and document business needs for platform enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Partner with Product Owners and development teams to refine and prioritize work.
• Manage assigned stakeholder backlogs and ensure requests are properly documented and groomed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders while providing regular communication on request status.
• Create supporting documentation, process flows, and knowledge articles as needed.
• Escalate risks, dependencies, and complex business decisions to the Product Owner.
