About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to join our Global Commercial Operations Organization. This is a business-facing role that partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT) to improve business processes and translate business needs into clear requirements that can be delivered through enterprise systems and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong business analyst who can drive requirements from discovery to delivery—including user stories, documentation, testing/UAT, training enablement, and adoption—while also demonstrating the potential to grow into deeper ownership of business questions and analytical insight over time. This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. This is a U.S. based position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis / business process analysis delivering cross-functional initiatives from requirements through rollout (including documentation and UAT).
  • Experience with CRM/platform workflows (Salesforce or similar) from a process, reporting, training, and user enablement perspective.
  • Experience supporting pipeline and/or forecasting related processes, including analysis that helps align stakeholders and improve decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency with Agile delivery tooling, including Jira (work management) and Confluence (requirements documentation / knowledge base).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau (must) for dashboards, reporting, or analytics support (advanced analyst level).
  • Strong data skills: comfort working with large inter-related datasets for analysis, cleanup/validation, and explaining interdependence across data sources.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (must): hands‑on professional experience using PivotTables, structured tables, and large workbooks to analyze and summarize complex datasets; able to convert analysis into executive‑ready insights and recommendations under tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and build alignment across functions and levels.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, or related field.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Exposure to Python for analytics, data preparation, or automation of validation checks.
  • Experience creating training materials/SOPs for enterprise tools and supporting global user communities.
  • Familiarity with data governance concepts (quality standards, validation controls, and scalable reporting practices).
  • Structured problem solving: can break ambiguous asks into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Execution + ownership mindset: independently drives items to closure while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Data-driven judgment: comfortable validating assumptions with data and explaining the rationale behind recommendations.
  • Enablement orientation: builds simple documentation and training that reduces friction and increases adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end requirements discovery: facilitate stakeholder interviews/workshops, map current vs. future state processes, and define business outcomes.
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements (e.g., functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria) that enable efficient delivery and reduce rework.
  • Partner with IT/product teams to refine scope, manage dependencies, and support backlog/work planning using standard Agile tools and practices.
  • Support process definition and continuous improvement for commercial workflows (e.g., pipeline governance, forecasting alignment, reporting workflows) by identifying gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and support analyses that reconcile commercial signals across stakeholders (e.g., opportunity pipeline, forecasts, and planning/execution needs) to improve decision quality and operational rhythm.
  • Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT): define test scenarios, coordinate business testers, triage issues, and validate that solutions meet requirements prior to release.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity for reporting and operational use: analyze large inter-related datasets, validate logic, and drive resolution of data defects.
  • Develop and deliver training, job aids, and desktop procedures to enable adoption across a global stakeholder base.
  • Communicate changes clearly and concisely to audiences with varied technical backgrounds; support post-release stabilization and continuous improvement.
