About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst/QA leads requirements and analysis for delivery. The role elicits and documents complex requirements, translates business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and guides teams and junior analysts while leveraging AI-assisted analysis tools. The position works on IT programs and supports Agile delivery, backlog management, UAT planning, and deliverable acceptance. The role follows a hybrid schedule of 3–4 days in Reston, Virginia, with work at client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and self-start.

• Openness to collaboration, feedback, and client requests.
• Enjoyment of working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities.
• At least 7 years of business analysis experience on IT programs.
• Strong requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery and backlog management.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Federal IT or financial-regulatory experience.
• CBAP or Agile Analysis certification.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners.
• Model business processes, data flows, and workflow requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and review requirements artifacts.
• Support UAT planning, test scenarios, and deliverable acceptance.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis and documentation.
