Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a financial analysis and business support capacity
  • Professional designation or advanced degree (CPA, CFA, or similar)
  • Expertise with Microsoft suite (Excel, Power BI, Power Point, SQL – preferred)
  • Experience with billing applications, SAP S/4HANA is an asset
  • Self-starter and strong team player, with a sense of urgency and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical thinker, action-taker, resilient and resourceful with a keen attention to detail and results focused
  • Comfortable with data, strong competency in driving analysis & building and maintaining models
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Exemplifies behavior that is consistent with Reliance culture, values and leadership practices

Nice To Haves

  • SAP S/4HANA is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Become a key resource for the business, develop an understanding of the applications impacting customers, billing & payments, customer communications, etc.
  • Proactively analyze key trends, identify data integrity issues, financial risks and opportunities, and support the functions’ delivery against financial and operational targets
  • Partner with business to identify and monitor KPI’s, gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Provide value-add analysis to drive performance
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Support and analyze various aspects of the billing/payments lifecycle including reporting, auditing and updates to processes
  • Develop process flows and end to end functional designs
  • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, support implementation of best practices, and drive continuous improvements
  • Drive / Support projects and initiatives as assigned
