About The Position
We are a growing multimedia company operating television and radio stations. We are seeking experienced Senior Broadcast Engineers to lead engineering operations in Houston and Dallas.
Requirements
- 7+ years of broadcast engineering experience.
- Leadership experience supervising engineers or projects.
- Strong knowledge of TV/radio broadcast operations, RF transmission, automation, and production systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with WideOrbit Automation and Master Control.
- Knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic is a plus.
- Experience with Zixi, AudioVault, and Zetta.
- SBE certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day engineering operations for the assigned market.
- Serve as the primary engineering liaison to station management and the Head of Engineering.
- Maintain engineering documentation, PM schedules, and equipment inventories.
- Maintain studios, master control, production systems, routing, and monitoring.
- Support WideOrbit Automation and Master Control.
- Support Zixi IP transport workflows.
- Maintain AudioVault and Zetta radio automation systems.
- Maintain TV and AM/FM transmitters, RF systems, microwave STL, antennas, generators, UPS, HVAC, EAS, captioning, and program delivery systems.
- Lead facility upgrades and equipment installations.
- Assist with capital planning.
- Ensure FCC, FAA, EAS, and OSHA compliance.
