We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Bridge Manager to join our Vancouver, BC office. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and project management for a range of high-profile transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on bridges, overpasses, and related structures. You will work within a growing team environment delivering feasibility studies, condition assessments, design, project management, and construction support services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered, or eligible for registration, with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge engineering, structural design, and project management within a consulting environment.
Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, and rehabilitation of concrete and steel bridge structures.
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC), CSA standards, and transportation agency requirements.
Experience delivering projects for BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit, municipalities, transportation authorities, or other public-sector clients.
Experience with multiple delivery models, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMAR, and Alliance.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Strong technical expertise in bridge design, structural analysis, construction methods, and rehabilitation strategies.
Demonstrated business development experience, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to mentoring staff, quality, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage bridge and structural engineering projects from planning through construction.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams.
Serve as Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record for bridge projects.
Lead the design and rehabilitation of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, foundations, and other transportation structures.
Review and approve engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and resource requirements.
Prepare and review construction cost estimates and support project budgeting.
Provide construction support services, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, and site inspections.
Ensure compliance with CHBDC, BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit standards, municipal requirements, and other applicable codes and regulations.
Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, interviews, and strategic pursuits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Contribute to the growth and success of the Bridges and Structures practice.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive team environment while supporting staff development and succession planning.
