About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our Tallahassee, FL office. This role involves performing density and asphalt tests, sampling and verifying material certifications, and observing construction work such as trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization, and lighting. The Senior Bridge Inspector is also responsible for coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors.

Requirements

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years of related experience, or an associates degree in a related technical field plus eight years of related experience required.
Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or Bridge construction.
Must have experience working on FDOT projects.
Must have the following FDOT certifications/qualifications or be able to obtain with three months: CTQP Final Estimates Level I and Level II, CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I, CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and Level II, CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I and Level II, CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, FDOT Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (TTC), IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety/HAZMAT, Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.

Responsibilities

Performs density and asphalt test; samples and verifies certification of materials.

Responsible for coordinating and managing lower level inspectors.
