About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our Tallahassee, FL office. Your role will involve performing density and asphalt tests, sampling and verifying certification of materials. You will observe construction work such as trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization, and lighting. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors.

Requirements

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years of related experience, or an associates degree in a related technical field plus eight years of related experience required.
Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or Bridge construction.
Must have experience working on FDOT projects.
Must have the following FDOT certifications/qualifications or be able to obtain with three months: CTQP Final Estimates Level I and Level II.
CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II.
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and Level II.
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I and Level II.
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection.
FDOT Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (TTC).
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
Nuclear Radiation Safety/HAZMAT.
Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.

Responsibilities
