Requirements

8-12 years or more of related work experience with bridge engineering design.
BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required.
PE licensure is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software.

Nice To Haves

MS in Structural Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks efficiently and accurately under minimal to no supervision.
Perform, oversee, and validate complex 3D structural analyses, seismic modeling, and dynamic load testing.
May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific group of bridges on small to large-size projects.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers.
Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines including Geotechnical, roadway, environmental, and drainage teams.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results.
Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
