We welcome applicants open to relocating to Toronto. The salary range for this role is $101,400.00 to $126,800.00. Join us as a Senior Brand Manager and lead the charge in driving growth for the world’s #1 Super Premium Rum Bumbu, as well as regional icons like Ungava Gin, Chic Choc Spiced Rum, Lamb’s Rum, and the iconic Havana Club Rum. Reporting to the Senior Brand Director, you'll spearhead strategies and inspire a talented team to create sustainable value and unforgettable brand experiences. Because this portfolio has a strong regional skew, we are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience building brands in Quebec. Experience working with the Beverage Alcohol space in the region is beneficial.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Brand Management within the CPG industry.
  • A university degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • An entrepreneur at heart who is self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • An experienced relationship builder working with a variety of stakeholders across the country and across the globe.
  • Proven expertise in brand building, strategy development, and campaign execution.
  • A passion for innovation and the ability to transform insights into successful business outcomes.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to guide and develop teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, coupled with creativity and strategic vision.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience growing brands in Quebec.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in French is an asset but not required.
  • Experience working with the Beverage Alcohol space in the region is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute annual brand plans and long-term strategies using consumer insights, market analysis, and innovative thinking.
  • Lead the development of positioning and guidelines for regional priorities brands such as Ungava Gin, Chic Choc Spiced Rum, and Lamb’s Rum.
  • Be the liaison with Global Brand teams, aligning visions and fostering collaboration.
  • Design and implement integrated marketing programs across retail, media, PR, and events, ensuring campaigns resonate with Canadian consumers.
  • Adapt global assets for the local market and leverage opportunities for regionalization in key provinces.
  • Analyze campaign performance against KPIs, sharing insights and recommendations to amplify results.
  • Partner with Brand Owners to ideate and bring to life innovative products that meet evolving consumer needs.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and commercialization efforts for new product launches, driving their success from concept to market.
  • Inspire, lead and mentor a team of three (2 Brand Managers and 1 Brand Ambassador), nurturing their growth and decision-making capabilities.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing environment where creativity thrives.
  • Drive a positive relationship with the Avengers – the Sovereign Brands sales team.
  • Manage brand budgets with precision, aligning investments with strategic priorities to optimize ROI.
  • Regularly monitor financial performance, offering actionable insights to maintain profitability.
