About The Position

As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr BMAS), you deliver exceptional service to our members as the primary contact for members regarding the status of their account and any escalation. Assist members in setting up new business, consumer, and IRA accounts. Resolve account related concerns, provide general credit union information, intake and follow up on consumer loan applications excluding residential mortgage lending. Rotates to perform branch duties to include MSR activities. Act on notary requests. Expand member relationships through offering appropriate products and services. We provide full comprehensive training for the operational aspects of the role. This is a Full-Time position (40 hours/week) with regular shifts including Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM and rotating Saturday shifts from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. The role is on-site at the Cicero Branch and may require occasional, planned coverage at nearby branch locations for support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.
  • Prioritizes teamwork and accountability, consistently supporting peers and contributing to a high-performing, unified team.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and drive—takes initiative to support branch goals and actively contributes to overall performance.
  • Brings a positive, solutions-oriented mindset that helps foster a collaborative and encouraging team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi Lingual Preferred - Spanish or Vietnamese
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Two to four years’ experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
