About The Position

This is an hourly role eligible for overtime. The Senior BPS - Continuous Improvement Implementer will increase the maturity of the Bosch Production System (BPS) in the Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center (LctP). This involves providing instruction on various BPS topics, evaluating manufacturing systems for improvement opportunities, analyzing data to support system design, and supporting BPS metrics, auditing, and assessment processes. The role requires strong moderation, facilitation, and training skills to implement solutions and best practices plant-wide, partnering with associates across all functions and levels. The position also involves facilitating training sessions, coordinating Tachinbo and SYS-CIP projects, executing BPS Shopfloor Partner process confirmations, and supporting Value Stream Planning, Shop Floor Management Cycle, leveling, and consumption control. The role supports all value streams and departments within the plant and involves some external interactions with Corporate BPS groups and Supplier network groups.

Requirements

5 plus years in a lean manufacturing environment - manufacturing/shopfloor experience
Understanding of and experience using the Bosch Production System similar lean manufacturing systems and concepts
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential
Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Project planning, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Provide instruction on BPS topics including Value Stream Design, Standardized Work, Working According to Standards, Shop Floor Management Cycle, 5S, TPM, Daily Leadership Routines, Shopfloor Involvement.
Evaluate current manufacturing systems to determine areas of potential improvement.
Analyze data to support system design.
Provide support for BPS metrics, auditing, and assessment processes.
Implement solutions and best practices plant wide independently, partnering with associates across all functions and levels.
Facilitate training sessions such as Working According to Standards (operators and shopfloor leaders), Shop Floor Management Cycle, 5S, TPM, Daily Leadership Routines, Shopfloor Involvement (Tachinbo).
Act as Tachinbo - Site Coordinator.
Act as SYS-CIP projects' Lessons Learned Site Coordinator.
Execute BPS Shopfloor Partner process confirmations.
Support Value Stream Planning, Shop Floor Management Cycle, leveling and consumption control.
Analyze systematic findings and determine improvements.
