About The Position

Impact Fab is hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to lead financial operations and serve as a trusted partner to the President in supporting a growing custom fabrication business. As the sole accounting professional, this role will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, general ledger accounts, month-end close activities, and providing accurate job-costing and financial information. The position requires a high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, highly trustworthy, and willing to take initiative in a collaborative, family-owned company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including AP, AR, reconciliations, general ledger work, and month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks desktop and ERP systems.
• Excellent accuracy, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
• Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information.
• Ability to work independently, meet recurring deadlines, and investigate discrepancies.

Nice To Haves

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is helpful, but relevant experience and demonstrated ability matter more than a specific degree.
• JobBOSS² experience a plus
• Experience with job costing, inventory, and WIP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, collections, and inquiries.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, payroll, general ledger, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process payroll and all associated transactions, manage general ledger accounts, and lead the month-end close.
• Maintain accurate job-costing, inventory, Work in Process, fixed-asset, and ERP records.
• Partner with operations and purchasing to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
