About The Position

The Senior Billing Revenue Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices to record revenue using Intacct, reconciling of deferred revenue accounts, tracking participants rent and upload to WelcomeMat, and administrating Wells Fargo’s Purchase Card system.  This position will engage with multiple business partners and requires the ability to support and balance changing needs and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or comparable field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant finance/accounting &/or FP&A experience. Intermediate Accounting skills. High level excel proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Intermediate accounting skills with an understanding of debits, credit, and accruals.
  • Knowledge of applicable general ledger systems and procedures, and chart of accounts.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, systems, and platforms, with above average Excel and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and use required mobile devices and business-related applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills and high degree of emotional intelligence, cultural humility, with a proven track record to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial and billing related analysis and research.
  • Document and establish proper grant revenue recognition methods on a contract-by-contract basis within the accounting systems of Abode.
  • Compile financial information to record transactions, prepare reports and review and verify accuracy.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure up to date information is documented.
  • Analyze the budget actual cost and prepare a report weekly.
  • Monitor grants routinely, including maintaining records, databases, spreadsheets, and other internal/external reports; identify and describe potential problems or delays encountered.
  • Ensure financial compliance with contract terms.
  • Prepare schedules for interim and annual audit.
  • Other duties as assigned.
