About The Position

Phillips Lytle is looking to expand its talent within its Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Team. This team represents a wide range of financial institutions and prominent businesses, assisting clients in both in-court and out-of-court reorganizations and insolvencies, as well as related litigation. The team is seeking to hire an attorney with 4-6 years of experience in specific areas related to lender and equipment lessor representation.

Requirements

4-6 years of experience assisting lenders and equipment lessors in workouts and forbearance transactions, restructurings, asset recovery and disposition, commercial collections, judgment enforcement and associated state court litigation
Superior academic record
Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills

Experience representing creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy, including adequate protection and stay relief, asset sales, cash collateral, plan confirmation, and preference, fraudulent transfer, and dischargeability proceedings
