About The Position

At Fiserv, the Senior Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that support business goals and client needs. The role is part of a team building the Merchants Onboarding & Client Implementations platforms and involves working independently on complex projects as well as collaborating with a team. The position also emphasizes engineering leadership, including managing and automating application operations.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in software development.
At least 3 years of experience in Java.
At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
At least 3 years of experience with Kafka.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree), or equivalent work experience.
Currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.
