As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will join a highly motivated and experienced team, building web and mobile applications as well as providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients. We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution-focused mindset.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as an information technology professional in roles such as software developer
- Strong experience building REST APIs
- Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular
- Experience with identity management systems such as OpenID / RHSSO
- Experience developing with Node.js and Tailwind CSS
- Extensive experience designing and implementing SOA and microservices
- Experience with unit testing, TDD, and integration testing using Cypress
- Experience with continuous delivery tools and methodologies such as GitHub, Travis CI, and agile workflows
- Experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying container-based solutions using Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of agile principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience operating in a DevOps environment
- Strong written and spoken English
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Customer-first mindset and a genuine devotion to customer service
- Strong self-initiative, passion, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to influence and make an impact across all levels of a cross-functional organization

Nice To Haves
- Experience building interfaces using component libraries
- Experience building in WSL2 environments
- Prior experience in consulting
