Senior Azure Data Engineer - Hybrid
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer for a five-month contract supporting a major financial institution in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role supports a project to centralize Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) data and governance around DSPM and DLP data. The engineer will analyze and develop data-source ingestion pipelines for the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse and serve as a technical liaison among Data Owners, Enterprise Information Protection, and Security Engineering teams. The position involves designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, developing data pipelines, implementing data lakes, and ensuring data security and compliance. The engineer will provide timely follow-ups and routine sprint schedule updates and adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes. The pay rate is up to $89.95 per hour. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.
Requirements
- 10 years of senior-level experience.
- Proven experience designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Azure certifications.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop ingestion pipelines for required data sources into the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse.
- Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
