Senior Azure Application Developer
About The Position
TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Application Developer to design, develop, and support modern, scalable applications using Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on cloud-native solutions using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Managed Instance, including scalable, serverless, and event-driven applications. The developer will integrate enterprise systems and apply CI/CD, cloud-security, and secure-development best practices. The position combines C#/.NET application development with experience building enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure environments. The developer will work in Agile development and DevOps processes and collaborate with .NET developers, SQL DBAs, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and Government and contractor personnel. The role also supports application modernization and migration initiatives and requires the ability to support the Washington, DC work arrangement and complete Government-required screening and badging processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 to 8+ years of software/application development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET.
- Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Azure-native architecture.
- Experience implementing modern application design patterns.
- Experience developing enterprise applications within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Ability to support the required Washington, DC, work arrangement.
- Ability to successfully complete the Government-required criminal-history check, fingerprinting, and contractor-badging processes.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud-native application development.
- Expertise with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
- Expertise in serverless and event-driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, enterprise application integration, application security, secure-development practices, Agile/Scrum, and application modernization and migration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop applications and services using C# and .NET.
- Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise application integrations.
- Build solutions using Azure App Service and Azure Functions.
- Develop solutions integrating Azure SQL Managed Instance and related data services.
- Design scalable, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Apply modern cloud application design patterns.
- Develop secure, highly available, and maintainable enterprise applications.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Integrate cloud applications with existing enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot development, integration, deployment, and production issues.
- Participate in Agile development and DevOps processes.
- Support application modernization and migration initiatives.
- Apply cloud-security and secure-development best practices.
- Produce technical and application documentation.
- Collaborate with .NET developers, SQL DBAs, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and other Government and contractor personnel.
