About The Position
CTP, Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure environments supporting enterprise applications and large-scale systems. Travel to the Caribbean region will likely be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of IT or cloud engineering experience
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Active SECRET security clearance desired
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships provided.
Nice To Haves
- AWS certifications
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience supporting secure or regulated environments
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation solutions
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
- Ensure cloud environments meet security and compliance requirements
- Optimize cloud cost and performance
- Support cloud-native application deployments
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams
