The role works with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that balance technology risk with business outcomes, using consistent modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling. The position designs and scales cloud solutions, including agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, and orchestration intended to shorten cycle times. It supports enterprise-grade governance from the outset and builds agents for AWS EKS using Anthropic large language models with privacy and controls built in. The role also contributes to secure, resilient cloud platforms and business-critical applications, including cloud operations, cost optimization, and adoption of automation and AI-driven operational capabilities. This role is based in Barclays’ Whippany, New Jersey office. The posted base salary range is $170,000–$230,000, and the position is eligible for an incentive award.
