Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Senior AWS Alliance Solutions Architect supports and advances the AWS Partnership across five key pillars. Partner Differentiation focuses on strategy creation, competency achievement, documentation, thought leadership, and technical credibility. Partner Facing – Alignment and Engagement represents the company, fosters partnerships, and acts as the primary technical contact with AWS including regular engagement with PDMs and Partner SAs. Partner Programs involve program liaison, alignment, and technical support for funding and incentive programs. Internal Collaboration and Enablement manages training coordination, operational enablement, and ensuring internal teams can independently operate alliance tools and processes. Alliance Technical Development encompasses building agentic automation, internal tooling, pipeline management, and scalable processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. BS in Computer Science preferred and/or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years' experience in Information Technology and/or Professional Services required; 12+ years preferred.
  • 5-8+ years' experience in or working with an AWS professional services organization (i.e. Slalom, Mission Cloud, Caylent, Rackspace, Quantiphi, Accenture, Deloitte, etc.) or as a Partner Solution Architect at a CSP (AWS preferred).
  • Understanding of and experience with agentic AI tooling — building intelligent automation using LLMs, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks. Full-stack engineering not required, but comfort designing and iterating on AI-driven systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience building tools and processes designed for alliance team partner management.
  • Demonstrated experience in services delivery, pre-sales/solution architecture, and/or sales involving AWS.
  • Awareness of multi-cloud AI ecosystem (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) and partner program mechanics.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate required within 6 months.
  • AWS Certified AI Practitioner (or equivalent GenAI certification) required within 6 months.
  • Builder mindset with enablement orientation
  • Comfort with data, pipeline metrics, and translating AWS requirements into operational action
  • Ability to converse with Senior internal and partner stakeholders; strong executive presence.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable driving towards recommendations and decisions independently.
  • Stays current in rapidly evolving agentic AI and AWS platform landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects varying in size and scope across multiple focus areas.
  • Strong ownership, bias for action, and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Presentation and workshop leadership skills; ability to tailor conversations from technical SMEs through executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead strategies for Partner Specializations, including competencies, service delivery designations, and service offerings.
  • Lead the development of artifacts and presentations required to achieve and maintain Partner Specializations, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Support AI competency strategy with awareness of how multi-cloud AI partnerships (AWS, OpenAI, Anthropic) integrate into our AWS GTM strategy.
  • Contribute to and manage our AWS Marketplace strategy, supporting new and existing professional services listings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for engaging with AWS Technical Teams.
  • Participate in technical thought leadership content creation (blogs, webinars, podcasts, videos, newsletters) and lead joint opportunities with AWS.
  • Represent the company at AWS events such as Summits and re:Invent, serving as the primary technical contact.
  • Engage on a regular cadence with AWS PDMs and Partner SAs, including joint pipeline reviews and technical alignment.
  • Serve as the technical voice on ACE inputs — understanding what AWS needs to see (GenAI service tagging, solution alignment, quality scoring).
  • Act as a bridge between internal teams and AWS in a technical capacity, functioning as counterpart to the AWS Partner Solutions Architect.
  • Act as technical liaison for partner programs like Immersion Day, GameDay, Well-Architected, MAP 2.0, MODNET, and GenAI programs.
  • Support the BD team's funding program activities on technical compliance and program stacking considerations.
  • Maintain awareness of SCA obligations and provide support for assigned workstreams, including ensuring appropriate APN solutions with accurate AWS service tagging.
  • Stay current on program changes and ensure internal teams are informed about requirements and opportunities.
  • Coordinate training strategies and delivery for AWS solutions, services, and programs, liaising between AWS and internal teams.
  • Ensure alliance team can independently operate tools and processes — focus on enablement and adoption.
  • Collaborate with AWS and internal teams to support and enable go-to-market strategies for new and existing solutions.
  • Build and maintain agentic automation and internal tooling using modern AI approaches (agents, LLM-driven workflows) that scale the alliance function.
  • Optimize the ACE co-sell pipeline including quality scoring, solution tagging, PRM compliance, and opportunity lifecycle.
  • Stay current on AWS APN/ACE agentic platform capabilities and integrate as appropriate.
  • Deliver reporting and analytics serving both internal leadership and AWS-facing engagement.
