At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be a crucial member of the Core Avionics organization within the Lunar Permanence business unit. You will provide technical leadership for the development, delivery, and sustainment of avionics products for Lunar Vehicles, including flight computers, I/O units, embedded controllers, and associated electrical hardware. This is a hands-on product engineering role with broad technical ownership. You will lead products through the full lifecycle—from concept, product architecture, and requirements development through design, build, integration, verification, qualification, production, and sustainment. You will actively make and influence technical design decisions, work directly with manufacturers and suppliers, and lead bench-level testing, troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and technical risk reduction. You will serve as a key technical leader across electrical hardware, mechanical packaging, embedded software, FPGA, controls, systems engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, and mission assurance. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration by enabling affordable, safe, and repeatable spaceflight.
